The powder itself is beautifully made: finely milled, silky, and pressed to the ideal density for a fluffy brush. The shade 777 is the star, a balanced peachy pink where the gold shimmer reads as glow rather than glitter. The signature rubberized compact feels premium but shows every fingerprint. NARS also offers a $33 refill and a $36 mini, which take some sting out of the price.
Value
Forty six dollars is a lot for blush, even an iconic one. The refill program helps, and the product lasts ages since you need so little. Against the $25 Rare Beauty liquid it loses on value, but for powder loyalists who want foolproof application, it remains worth it. Buy the refill once you are hooked.
