Quality
The aerospace grade titanium case and flat sapphire crystal shrug off knocks that would scar lesser watches. The Action button is tactile and the whole package feels engineered rather than assembled. Bands swap in seconds and sit securely.
Value
At $699 on sale the Ultra 3 undercuts the Ultra 4 by a meaningful margin while keeping the core experience: the display, satellite SOS, multiday battery, and full health suite. For anyone who does not need the newest health sensors, it is the smarter buy.
You’ll Love It If
Endurance athletes, hikers, divers, and iPhone users tired of daily charging.
Skip It If
Android users, smaller wrists, and anyone happy with a standard Apple Watch.
FINAL VERDICT
A superb adventure watch that got even better as a deal. Buy it discounted and you get nearly all of the Ultra experience for less.
