Quick Take
The OXO spinner dries greens with a single press of its soft pump knob, then stops on a dime with the patented brake. The 6.22 quart bowl doubles as a colander and a serving bowl, and the lid comes apart for easy cleaning. It is bulky, but for anyone who eats salad regularly it earns its keep.

Quality
The spinner feels sturdy and well engineered, from the smooth pump action to the positive click of the brake. The crystal clear bowl is thick and the non slip ring genuinely grips wet counters. After years of use the mechanism stays smooth, which is why this design has survived since 1998.
Value
At $32.99 it costs more than basic spinners, but none work as well or last as long. If you eat salad twice a week, the per use cost drops to pennies within a year. It is a buy it for years kitchen tool.
You’ll Love It If
Anyone who washes lettuce, herbs or greens more than once a week.
Skip It If
Tiny kitchens with zero storage and committed salad avoiders can skip it.
FINAL VERDICT
The OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner is one of those rare kitchen tools that is simply the best at its job. It is big and it is plastic, but dry crispy greens are worth it.
