The Details
Full Review
Quality
The Original is simple polypropylene with a silicone seal: light, tough, and dishwasher safe on the top rack. It will not win design awards next to the $200 Premium glass model, but owners report a decade of daily use without wear. Everything fits together with satisfying, tool free simplicity.
Value
At $39.95 it is one of the best values in all of coffee gear. A 350 pack of filters costs a few dollars and lasts months, so the total cost of ownership stays tiny. Even if you later upgrade to a pour over setup, the AeroPress earns its counter space as a travel brewer.
You’ll Love It If
Buy it if you brew for one or two people and want better coffee with minimal fuss and counter space.
Skip It If
Skip it if you brew big pots for a household or want a true espresso machine; look at drip or espresso instead.
FINAL VERDICT
The AeroPress Original is a modern classic for good reason: fast, forgiving, and absurdly good value. Years on, it remains the first brewer to recommend to anyone upgrading from a drip machine.
