Quick Take
The Breville Juice Fountain Compact ($99.95) is the best cheap way to start juicing: fast, small, and easy. The Nama J2 ($795) is the best way, period: hands free cold press extraction, dramatically better yield and flavor, and a 15 year warranty. If you juice daily, the Nama wins walking away.

Quality
How they compare: build and design. The Nama J2 is a 12.8 pound tank of BPA free Tritan and Ultem with a self feeding hopper you load and walk away from. The Breville is a compact centrifugal machine with a 3 inch feed tube and dishwasher safe parts. Both are well made for their price classes, but the Nama is engineered for a decade of daily use while the Breville is built for convenience.
Value
Price comparison. At $795 the Nama costs roughly eight times the $99.95 Breville, which sounds absurd until you juice daily: higher yield means less produce per glass, the 15 year warranty amortizes to about $53 a year, and the juice simply tastes better and keeps longer. For occasional juicers the Breville’s math is unbeatable; for daily drinkers the Nama pays back in produce savings and pleasure.
You’ll Love It If
Daily juicers and wellness focused households who will use it enough to justify the investment should buy the Nama J2.
Skip It If
Occasional juicers, small kitchens, and tight budgets should grab the Breville and never look back.
FINAL VERDICT
Winner: Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer. The hands free hopper, superior extraction, and 15 year warranty make it the last juicer most people will ever buy. The Breville remains our budget pick for casual juicers, but it cannot touch the Nama on quality.
