Quick Take
The Mini 12 is the easiest instant camera ever made: twist the lens, shoot, and automatic exposure handles the rest. Prints are credit card sized and charming, the camera itself is cute, and at $79.95 it is an easy gift. Film costs add up fast, but the joy is real.

Quality
The bubble shaped body feels solid with a smooth twist lens mechanism. The 60mm lens with selfie mirror is simple but effective, and automatic exposure nails most scenes. It runs on two AA batteries that last about 100 shots. Build quality exceeds the toy like looks.
Value
Eighty dollars for the camera is fair; the real cost is film at roughly a dollar per print. Heavy shooters will spend far more on film than the camera. For occasional fun it is cheap joy; for daily shooting, budget accordingly.
Who Should Buy It
Buy it if you want instant physical photos at parties and trips.
Who Should Skip It
Skip it if you shoot hundreds of photos or need high image quality.
FINAL VERDICT
The Mini 12 is pure fun in camera form: simple, cute, and genuinely delightful. Just go in knowing the film is the real purchase.
