The AirPods Pro 3 keep Apple’s crown in the premium earbud race. Apple claims twice the noise cancelling of the Pro 2, adds heart rate sensing for workouts, and brings live translation to your ears. At $249 they are not cheap, but for iPhone owners they are the obvious choice.

  • Heart rate sensing adds real value for workouts

Quality

The Pro 3 keeps Apple’s familiar glossy white finish with a noticeably refined fit. Five ear tip sizes from XXS to L make a proper seal easier to find, and owners report they stay put through runs and workouts. The MagSafe case is compact and charges over USB C, an Apple Watch puck, or Qi, with a built in speaker for Find My. The whole package is rated IP57, which is rare air for earbuds at this level.

Value

At $249 the Pro 3 sit at the top of the earbud price ladder, and they have been spotted as low as $179 during sales, which changes the math completely. Against the Pro 2 there is a real generational jump in noise cancelling and health features. Rival flagships from Sony and Bose undercut them on price but cannot match the Apple ecosystem polish. If you live on an iPhone, the value case is strong; if you do not, half the magic evaporates.

Who Should Buy It

iPhone owners who want the best noise cancelling earbuds without thinking about it, plus anyone who wants heart rate tracking or translation without another device.

Who Should Skip It

Android users should look elsewhere, since most of the marquee features stay behind Apple’s fence. Budget buyers get most of the basics from the standard AirPods.

FINAL VERDICT

The AirPods Pro 3 are the easiest recommendation in Apple’s audio lineup. The noise cancelling is elite, the health and translation features are genuinely new, and nothing else feels this effortless with an iPhone. They are pricey and unapologetically Apple only, but for the faithful they are the earbuds to beat.
